A fully equipped kitchen and a full time cook allow us the opportunity to provide nutritious, home-cooked meals for breakfast, lunch, and snack time. We follow nationally approved nutritional guidelines through the Child and Adult Care Food Program. (CACFP) Turnbull Child Development Center offers safe and interactive playgrounds. The four, separate playgrounds feature age-appropriate equipment that is structurally anchored and positioned on soft-surface tile. Tricycle paths encircle each playground where children can enjoy age-appropriate ride-on toys. Turnbull CDC prioritizes the safety of each child in attendance. A state-of-the-art video surveillance system allows staff members to view and videotape areas surrounding the building. Entry to the building is accessed via security cards, which are issued only to registered families family members and staff. Visitors gain entry only after ringing the intercom system, being allowed to enter by a staff member and registering at the front desk. They are personally escorted to the appropriate area. Photo identification is required for all unknown visitors. Your child does more than play at the Turnbull Child Development Center. We offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum with year round themes that offer integrated learning for infants through school age children. We build a foundation of education for children that will follow them throughout their academic years.
